Who We Serve

We work with a wide variety of students, from high achievers to students with learning differences. We work with student athletes and artists, students who know what they want to do and students that have no idea which career path to pursue.

We attend various professional development conferences each year in order to interface with admission officers and higher education representatives, gleaning the latest higher ed knowledge to bring back to our clients.

THE FIT FOUR

Cognitive College Advising takes a four-pronged approach to the college search and selection process.
We focus on the best fit:
Academically
Socially
Emotionally
Financially

The financial piece is often a decision-making driver for many of our families. College costs at private institutions can now exceed $250,000, and $100,000 at some in-state schools. We provide strategies for lowering the cost of attendance while discovering the best fit.

Each element is key. Let us take your child on a journey of discovery, lower the stress level at home and manage the often overwhelming college search and selection process.

LEARNING DIFFERENCES

We work with students with learning differences, from dyslexia to ADHD to executive functioning deficits.  We help students discover colleges and universities that provide the  right amount of support services for your child to flourish.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

We work with students from all over the world!  If you want to study in the United States, there are many opportunities and rigorous undergraduate programs that will welcome you.
